About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP, Telecom Engineering Services to provide executive leadership for its global engineering organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a large, distributed team and driving operational improvements to enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer relationships. Key duties include managing a multi-layered leadership team, establishing strategic direction, and owning divisional budgeting and financial performance. The role also involves building and maintaining executive-level relationships, supporting commercial growth initiatives, and ensuring quality and best practices across global operations. Applicants for the VP, Telecom Engineering Services role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in telecommunications engineering, with a strong background in areas such as FTTx, FTTH, OSP design, and fiber network deployments. Experience in leading large, globally distributed teams and a proven track record in managing managers and directors are essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in telecom delivery, permitting, drafting, and experience in owning P&L, budgets, and operational metrics. A Professional Engineer (PE) certification and experience in middle-mile, long-haul fiber, broadband, or data center infrastructure are considered advantageous. The role requires a strategic leader who can drive the company's expansion and diversification in the telecom engineering services sector.
