Job Overview:

Pay Range: $90.75hr - $95.8hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• 8-10 years experience of firmware development.
• Prior work experience in developing firmware for high speed SerDes systems, spanning both electrical and optical domains.
• Programming skills with C and C++.
• Knowledge of physical layer specification in PCIe and IEEE 802.3.
• Demonstrable debugging skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop firmware that bridges high-speed electrical SerDes, silicon photonics, and optical subsystems.
• Work closely with firmware engineers, hardware designers, system architects, and validation teams to enable robust control, calibration, and optimization of next generation SerDes solutions.
• Integrate advanced photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and high performance electrical interfaces.

Nice to Have:

• Ability to work with hardware debugging tools such as JTAG, I2C bus analyzers and scope.
• Experience in source control and build management.
