Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Class A Dump Truck Driver to join our team! The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience hauling broken concrete, sand, dirt, and rocks and be comfortable driving off-road onto construction job sites. This role requires strict adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, as well as proper documentation of trips and loads.
Responsibilities:
Safely haul and transport broken concrete, sand, dirt, and rocks to and from job sites
Operate a Class A dump truck on highways, city roads, and off-road construction sites
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure truck safety and compliance
Maintain accurate trip logs and load documentation in accordance with DOT regulations
Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
2-3 years of experience operating a dump truck in construction environments
Experience driving off-road and on uneven terrain
Knowledge of DOT regulations and ability to accurately document loads and trips
Ability to perform basic truck maintenance and inspections
Strong attention to safety and detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience hauling heavy materials such as gravel, asphalt, or demolition debris
Familiarity with construction job site operations
Mechanical knowledge for minor truck repairs
